WORLD FESTIVAL PARADE BRUNSSUM 2022
THE PARADE IS BACK! From June 30 until July 3rd Brunssum will be the shining center of attention to enjoy music, dancing and socializing. During the festival you will be able to enjoy different groups from various countries around the world presenting their culture, dances and music! With many different activities around the festival young and old will be able to dive into new adventures. THIS YEARS THEME IS re:discover the dance!
Opening Ceremony
Thursday 30 June is the day: the festive opening of World Festival Parade Brunssum 2022 in the Vijverpark! During the opening, the participating groups are introduced to the public. Afterwards, a DJ will introduce the first party night of this edition. The opening ceremony is freely accessible to everyone.
Open Air Show performances
The traditional, dazzling performances are given daily in the open-air theater by participating countries and. In the open air of Brunssum, the countries will show dances on the covered stage and play music from their culture. In addition, a spectacular sideshow ensures an afternoon or evening to remember. A performance in the open-air theater guarantees a unique experience for young and old!
A ticket is required for the performances. The tickets are for sale online via the website or at the ticket office in Brunssum. Four participating groups will show their culture per performance. This classification can be viewed on the website (subject to change).

Children's workshops
From Friday to Sunday there are workshops especially for the smallest guests. Various activities are offered during this fun workshop. The following activities, among others, will be organized:
• building with bamboo
• create silhouettes
• craft 'dancing' keychains
• make flags of the participating countries and distribute them all over the festival site
• make a fabric framework
• and much more...
The workshops are given on the festival site in the Vijverpark in front of the safari tents that are especially present for this purpose. Children aged 4-14 are welcome, pre-registration is not necessary.
